Full Itinerary

We begin our coastal loop adventure by walking along the Greenhead Three Bays Walks. Lunch at Dynamite Bay, part of the Three Bays Walks. We then travel up Indian Ocean Drive for stunning coastal views. Stop at Hutt Lagoon Pink Lake, a must-see attraction near Geraldton. Visit the Natural Bridge at Kalbarri’s stunning coast and take a leisurely walk at Castle Cove. Stay overnight in the peaceful seaside town of Kalbarri, where the Murchison River meets the Indian Ocean.

Meals are not available. Accommodation options include Kalbarri Edge Resort Private Studio Rooms with ensuite or a similar alternative. The driving distance is 575km, and the hiking distance is 2.5km.

Start your day early to explore the Murchison Gorge, Nature’s Window, and the Kalbarri Skywalk. Marvel at the beauty of The Murchison Gorge at Hawkes Head lookout in Kalbarri National Park. Witness the vibrant colours of wildflowers during the spring season. Enjoy lunch and refreshments at the famous Billabong Roadhouse (at your own expense), a landmark serving visitors since 1962. Continue your journey to the unique Shell Beach, where you can stroll along a beach composed of tiny shells. Stay at Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, located in the World Heritage Listed Shark Bay area, where you can spot resident dolphins and enjoy various activities such as kayaking (optional extra), beach relaxation, and wildlife observation.

We will have breakfast and stay at RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort in Private Stanard Rooms (with ensuite) or a similar alternative accommodation. The driving distance is 450km, and the hiking distance is 3km.

Participate in abseiling with Kalbarri Abseil for a thrilling experience of descending twice.

This morning, we will meet the Monkey Mia Dolphins. We’ll have the opportunity to take unique up-close photos. We’ll also visit the town of Denham and walk along the foreshore. In addition, we’ll admire the stunning cliff views that overlook Shark Bay. At Eagle Bluff, we can spot various types of wildlife, such as sharks, turtles, rays, and more. Later, we will stop at the Overlander Roadhouse, where guests can purchase their lunch. Continuing our journey south, we’ll make photo stops at Galena Bridge and Coronation Beach. Finally, we’ll arrive at our last overnight stay in Geraldton by the seaside.

The meals provided are breakfast. The accommodation is at Hospitality Geraldton Motel Private Standard Rooms (with ensuite) or a similar alternative. The driving distance is 385km. The hike distance is 2km.

Visit the HMAS Sydney Memorial in Geraldton and enjoy the stunning views. Take a trip to the Point Moore Lighthouse. Explore Port Denison and take a walk along the foreshore and lookout. Continue along the Indian Ocean road and stop in Jurien Bay to walk along the Jetty. Then, head to Cervantes, a charming seaside town, and have lunch at the famous Lobster Shack. Take a guided tour of their lobster factory. After that, visit the eerie Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park. Finally, relax on the bus and enjoy the scenic countryside as we return to Perth, with drop-off starting around 6.30 pm.
