Full Itinerary
Experience one of Darwin’s most iconic tourist attractions, a half-day Jumping Croc Cruise on the Adelaide River, where you can observe dangerous and aggressive predators in their natural habitat.
Travelling southeast from Darwin city, you will reach the Marrakai wetlands, home to a diverse range of native birds and reptiles, including saltwater crocodiles.
Australia’s Top End is known for its abundant population of over 100,000 saltwater crocodiles, primarily found in and around Darwin, Mary River, and the Adelaide River region. Therefore, visitors are likely to observe a significant number of crocodiles throughout the day in the naturally occurring waterways of the Northern Territory.
The saltwater crocodile is the largest reptile in the world. It is also one of the oldest living creatures. They can grow up to 6 meters long and weigh as much as 1000kg. A well-known crocodile called ‘Sweetheart’ was caught near the Adelaide River. Sweetheart had a habit of chewing boat motors and stealing cows. Sadly, Sweetheart died in 1979 but is now preserved in the Darwin Museum.
Our staff are provided with Wildlife Permits by National Parks and Wildlife to guarantee the ethical treatment of animals during our interactions with them.

*Child fare prices are valid for children from 0 to 12 years old. Infants aged 0 to 4 cannot travel on adult laps and must be safely restrained within a child protective seat. Infant protective seats are free of charge and must be requested when booking.

- Infants aged 0 to 4 must be safely restrained within a protective child seat and not allowed to travel on adult laps. We can provide infant protective seats free of charge; however, they must be requested at the time of booking.
- Child fares apply to children between 0 to 12 years old.
- This terrain is unsuitable for mobility-impaired travellers with wheelchairs, walkers, prams or strollers.
- Due to limited storage space in our vehicles, baggage must be kept to a 1 x 5-7kg bag per person.
